The automated system speeds up inspection time and reduces costs. A UR10 collaborative robot can do the inspection with just one operator. The robot moves an inspection head to previously programmed locations. The sensor is a FLIR thermal camera. By analyzing the flow of heat through the composite structure the sensor can detect a faulty area without damaging it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As described by Elliott Cramer: &#8220;In the computer, before you actually start moving the robot, you can develop the inspection pattern.
