Add to Robot Library: Arduino Braccio

#1

Hi,

We are currently creating a robotics educational course at our faculty (TUDelft Induacteial Design Engineering). For this we would like students to control RoboDK and Arduino Braccio (https://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Braccio)

Could you add Arduino Braccio to the RoboDK library? There is a ROS URDF available at https://github.com/jonabalzer/braccio_description

Thank you

Hi TuDelft colleague,

Is this question still valid?
If so, you can write me a pm and see what we can do.

Cheers

Hi,

I am trying to setup the Braccio arm 6 DoF as a new robot using the "6 axis industrial" profile from the "model new mechanism or robot" tool.

I have got close, but some rotations are misaligned. It seems this could be due to the offset/rotation of the axis.

Attached is the CAD of the Braccio. I ended up saving each axis individually files in attachments.

Attached is the full CAD from ufactory and the individual STEP files I saved out.

Please could someone offer some advice on how to add the model to RoboDK.

Thank you in advance,

/Herve

I'm sorry we took so long. We'll be adding the Arduino Braccio next week.
