Disable Splitting Linear movement in XXX

#1
Hi,

I am using accurate kinematics and I can't have Linear splitting along my moves.

I still need to use some rounding due to the use case, but if there are too many moves it only slows down the robot and interfere with my cut speed.

Is there a way to limit/disable splitting linear movement ?

Thanks

You can set or remove the automatic splitting of linear movements in the Program settings:
  1. Select Tools-Options
  2. Select Program tab
  3. Maximum step size (mm) in the linear movement section
This setting should be disabled by default (value should be -1)

If you calibrated your robot and you are generating a program with a calibrated robot RoboDK will automatically split it every 50 mm or so to take advantage of accuracy. You can limit or disable splitting of linear movements in RoboDK when using accurate kinematics by following these steps:
  1. Select Tools-Options
  2. Select Accuracy tab
  3. Increase the tolerance "Split generated programs for filtering" (or set to -1 to disable it)
The default value is 50 mm or so.
