Again problems with Mac--lost internet connection

#1
Hello,
as many times before I got the problem "lost internet connection". I can not activate the license.
I de- and reinstalled RoboDK, no changes... Firewall is deactivated, Mac has internet-connection.
What am I doing wrong that I always get this problem after a while?

This license issue could be related to the Computer ID changing often. RoboDK's Computer ID was designed to be a unique number that doesn't change and tied to the MAC address. However, MacOS introduced rotating MAC addressess for weak Wifi connections. This will make the RoboDK server see your Mac as a second or third computer every time you connect to your Wifi network and restart RoboDK.

To disable this feature on Mac computers you can follow these steps:
  1. Open System Settings: Click the Apple menu and select "System Settings".
  2. Go to Wi-Fi: In the sidebar, click on "Wi-Fi".
  3. Select Your Network: Find the name of the Wi-Fi network you're connected to.
  4. Click "Details": Click the "Details" or "More Info" button next to the network name.
  5. Change Private Wi-Fi Address: Find the option for "Private Wi-Fi Address" and select "Fixed" from the dropdown menu Apple Support.
I'm sorry for the trouble this is causing. We'll improve RoboDK so this workaround is not needed.

Let us know by email when you have issues in the meantime and we'll provide you with enough temporary licenses so you can work with your Mac.
