Build Mechanism Frame and Axis Error

#1
I have two issues when building a mechanism:
  1. When I create a mechanism, the frame is moved, 1000 in the Y direction for my reference frame. I do not want this frame to move, how do i stop this.
  2. I am creating a 5 axes (generic) mechanism. I have correctly mapped the axes travel direction and pan/tilt when previewing the unit via update. When I click Ok, and create the unit, my axis travel direction changes.

Here is the station with the CAD files for troubleshooting.Note no tooling or work pieces are included. Thanks for any help.

When creating a new mechanism, the base is offset by 1000 mm by default to avoid placing the mechanism in the same place as your 3D models. You can remove the 3D files afterwards and then update the position of your coordinate system.

For the 5-axis generic mechanism, you may be seeing the base shift pose with a 90 deg rotation around the Y axis. Is this what you mean? This can make it feel like the X axis becomes the Y axis and vice versa.
