Cannot Connect Remotely to UR5e

#1
Hello,

I am attempting to connect remotely to a UR5e and am running into some trouble. I have connected to a UR16e successfully following all the same steps but am still unsuccessful.

I have enabled remote control mode and switched the pendant to it, set a static IP, and started up the robot (started motors, unlocked brakes, etc.). I can successfully ping the robot both in RoboDK and a command prompt but I get stuck on the "Waiting..." step when attempting to connect. I have tried several different ports and disabled windows firewall as well. I am running out of troubleshooting options so any help would be great.

Thanks

do you get any information on the log when connecting?
Are the robot and computer on the same subnetwork?

Hey Alex,

Yes I will attach below the log output, it may have something to do with the "progrobodk.script" file not opening but I am not sure what that means. Also, yes I am connected directly to the robot from my PC and have configured the ethernet connection properly (same subnet).

You should delete this file:
C:/RoboDK/bin/progrobodk.script

This will use the default script which should work on any UR e-series robot.

This worked, thanks!
