I am trying to recreate the canoe polishing tutorial using Solidworks. I see that in inventor the sketched curves are projected onto the surface of the canoe.
How is this done using Solidworks?

I found it  it in Features/Curves/Project Curve select Sketch on faces.

Hi Mark,

To create sketch projected on a surface, you can draw a sketch on a plan perpendicular to the surface and use the option Curves -> Project Curve. After that, if you have the RoboDK plugin installed for SolidWork, you can export the curve directly into your RoboDK station.
