Clay 3D-Printing - Toolpath Issue with Print Bed

#1
Dear All,

I’m new to RoboDK (so please excuse perhaps a beginner question) and currently facing a small issue: my robot keeps rotating the print bed (end effector) instead of keeping it properly aligned/horizontal. Could someone help me figure out how to adjust it so that the print bed remains horizontal at all times?

Cheers

Marc

I just ran your program and it looks like the print bed remains horizontal and it does not change the orientation already.

What would you like to do differently?

Hi Albert,

Thanks for your reply. I’d prefer that the print bed remains horizontal while moving to the 3D printing position and does not rotate during this movement.

Best

If you want to block the rotation of the tool (or the part for a remote TCP project) you can set the Allow a tool Z rotation of +/- to zero.

I see that in your project the print bed is not rotating already.
