I am trying to make a custom conveyor in Robodk but it looks like its not as straightforward I thought it would be. On all the questions on forums I see responses like making a 1 linear axis mechanism which looks right but there is a piece missing in between. When I make the linear axis the problem is the whole belt moves along with the object. I don't want that. I want to move only the object. When I click on modify robot for the existing conveyor in robodk  I see a new icon which I have never seen.(Attachment added). What exactly is this icon/type of object?  Can I please get the step by step method to make the custom conveyor in robodk?

When creating a conveyor you don't need to specify any object for the moving part. You can simply leave it empty and load the parts that the conveyor should grab to the conveyor mechanism.

The object you selected in your image is probably the item that was holding surfaces of your object. It probably does not have any surfaces or geometries.
