Extracting stp or igs files from RoboDK

#1
Is it possible to extract files back from RoboDK station to the step or iges format?
And not only objects but for example mechanisms or robots?

Thank You

Hi DKeretic,

You can save robots or mechanisms as .robot, readable with roboDK.

At the moment, you can only export objects from RoboDK in .stl or .sld, however if you have SolidWorks you can open the .stl and re-save as step if needed.

HI, i need to export robot in some positions in .stl.
I did the next.

Select robot
Right click
Save as
Change the name to robot.stl
press OK

But, when I imported the robot.stl into Solidworks, I don't have nothing

How is the correct way to export robots?

Hi Paul,

I don't think you can do that with the robots.
