Get Position Problem While trying connect to TM Robot

#1
Hi,

I have a project using TM Robot. When I try to connect the TM robot through RoboDK, it can connect and the status is "ready" however when I try click the Get position command, the position of the robot in RoboDK can't follow the current position of the real TM robot. When I check the log, it keep sending command without another response. Do you know how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Are you connected to the port with Modbus connection?

I understand there is only one physical connector on the robot controller.

Hi Albert,

Thank you for replying. Yes already connected to the port with Modbus connection now this issue is already fixed. The problem is because there is a wrong python version and I need to change to specific python version.

However, now there is a new problem where when we want to execute the TM robot from RoboDK program, when it should move linearly but the TM robot is not moving linear (move in weird direction). This problem happened when connect to the TM robot and running the movement program from RoboDK. Do you know how to fix this issue? Do I need to modify something in the TMdriver.py to solve this issue?

Thanks.

Thank you for letting us know. I'm happy to hear the connection issue is fixed.

Can you share th RoboDK file and describe the steps you follow? If you can share a video of the issue it would also help.
