How to return frames from Curve Follow Project

#1
Hello Everyone,

I am working with an ABB IRC5 controller and I was wanting to return a list of frames from using the Curve Follow Project utility. The utility can create a program that is sent to the controller, but I already have a program made and I was just wanting to update one or two of the frames to optimize the real-world behavior. Visual Components was used previously for this purpose and I am exploring RoboDK's ability to replace that software.

I was told that I may need to create a script, but I am not too familiar with this and I am not sure where to look.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi Tthorpe,

I'm not 100% sure to understand your question.

A program made by hand? Or generated with RoboDK?

What do you mean by a "list of frames"? Curve follow project only use one reference frame (user frame/object frame) as the origin of the path. Do you mean a list of targets (robtargets)?

Have a great day.
