How to run Kuka Krc4 code externally using python openshowvar ?

Hello everyone i am new at robotic technologies
i'm using python openshowvar in my computer to connect to kukavarproxy in Kuka robot 
connection between osv and kvp is already successful when the robot is moving i can get the axis parameters but my issue is how to make the robot moving by python message through kvp i can't figure it out 
the robot mode is switched to external auto and when i send $EX_START True nothing happened could any one help me please

You can't set all signals over posv. EX_START is only available in ext mode, and must be tied to mapped IO.
