How to synchronize a robot with a moving linear rail

#1
I am working on a RoboDK simulation and I'm trying to achieve smooth conveyor tracking motion between a robot and a moving linear rail, In my Programme Principal I have move wagon running as a start thread followed by Appel move robot and I want the robot to move to target 1 which is inside frame 3 on the moving mechanism and track it while the wagon is moving. I tried putting a loop around the Appel move robot call but it lags.

How can I make the simulated robot track Target 1 smoothly in real-time while the wagon is moving?

There are no direct solution for this but you can simulate it using a python script.

I created a script that forces the robot to follow the target on the rail smoothly and live. Run the script "Robot Follow Target 1 Live" and jog the rail manually to see the result.

I hope this help.
