Machining Project

#1
Hello all,

I would like to know if there is any way to directly use '.dxf' files for a machining project in RoboDK? Currently, I am using dxf2gcode to convert the .dxf file into G-code (.ngc) and then importing it into RoboDK. So, I have to do this in two steps :

1> Convert .dxf file to G-code (.ngc) using dxf2gcode converter
2> Import the .ngc file into RoboDK.

I would like to know if there is any way using which I could directly work with .dxf file in RoboDK.

P.s. : I saw an error message saying install dxf2gcode on RoboDk/Other/Dxf2Gcode. But, this didnt work for me. If this method is working for anyone, could anyone list the steps to follow for installation?

Thanks

Hi Raj,

Installing dxf2gcode in the "Other" folder should work.
I used this method with a client a few weeks back on both our computers without any issues.

Make sure that the installation path looks like this.
