Hello there,
I would like to model a custom 7 DoF robot. The trouble is, that the "Model Mechanism or Robot" tool does not support any robot geometry for the 7 DoF case. Is there a way to circumvent this?
I contemplated modelling a 6 DoF robot and adding a rotary turntable to the end of the kinematic chain, but that seems rather sloppy and won't allow me to use the forward and inverse kinematics of RoboDK properly.
Also, the robot in question is a highly specialised concept design that cannot be bought off the shelf, which means, that I can't hope for it to be added to the Robot library.
