New user 3D printing errors

#1
Hi All,

I'm a new user of RoboDK and new to robots in general.
I have a Kuka KR20 and KRC5 cabinet with a Pulsar extruder attached for 3D printing research at large scale. I have followed the instructional video to create a 3D printing station with my extruder as the tool, and successfully created my simulation of printing a simple box structure.
I selected the KRC5 as my post processor to create my program and loaded it on to the Kuka, but the Kuka software lists a number of errors in the program. The error is "Name not declared as subprogram" and is listed for each of the M_RunCode and M_SetRPM instructions.

It looks like I have missed something in the setup of my program. Does anyone have any experience of the same issue or can explain what I have done wrong?

Thanks,

Richard

either remove the settings you don't need/have within program events or delete the instructions not needed from the program file either within HMI or before transfering. Happens to me every time I forget to remove spindle and coolant.

Hi Borgis1,

Thank you,
You confirmed what I was currently finding through forum searching. I removed the M_RunCode and SetRPM lines and now the program runs. I checked that the motion was as I expected from the simulation and it was correct.

As my setup has a separate controller for temps, I think all I need to do is define the extruder RPM based on the manufacturers guidelines.

Thanks again

Rich
