Problem with Tool definition

Hi I'm new here. 
I want to do an easy pick an place, but I cant create an event. I cant choose the gripper. 

I think this happens when the tool is not precisely defined. Watching some videos I found out that the gripper has to be a Tool, like even the miniature has to be a tool. 

In my case there is only a gear-sign. I dont know how I can define it otherwise.

I want to use the Kinova Gen3 Lite.

You should add a tool to your robot to attach objects to your tool. You also need a tool to move to targets unless you want to use the robot flange.

The gripper you added is loaded as a mechanism and this is why you have this issue.
