Problems importing large STEP file

#1
I'm trying to import a large size STEP file (315 Mb) and after a few seconds of loading RoboDK crashes. If I try to import a smaller size file is all ok but not with the large size one.

Could this be related to problems with my educational license? Is it necessary having a professional license for importing large size step file?

I recommend you to increase the import accuracy tolerance of the 3D file import:
  1. Select Tools-Options
  2. Select the CAM tab
  3. Select Fast import settings
  4. Reload the STEP or IGES files
Can you share the file? We can better take a look.

I did what you said in the post. I can't share the file, i think is too heavy.

It's all okay, I tried and retried and basically when Message "RoboDK is not responding" appears i have to wait few minutes and my Step file will load.
