Question about Editing and Exporting APT Files from Fusion to RoboDK

#1
Hello,

I am currently using the RoboDK plugin in Fusion to generate APT files.
These files are automatically imported into the RoboDK project tree, but I would like to know if it is possible to edit the generated APT files in an external editor such as VS Code.

We are encountering issues with robot machining, and I need to manually edit the exported APT files.
I have confirmed that the files are temporarily saved in the folder:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Temp
However, they are output as a single combined APT file (for example, the two APT programs shown in the attached figure are merged into one).

Is there a way to export the machining program for each tool in Fusion as separate APT files, saved in a specific folder such as the desktop, instead of a single combined APT file?

You can automatically create a separate robot machining project when loading APT files with different tool changes and different robot machining sequences by following these steps:
  1. Select Tools-Options
  2. Select the CAM tab
  3. Check the option Automatically create one machining operation per tool
  4. Check the option Automatically create one machining operation per program
You can optionally check the option Automatically create cutters if you want to see the cutters as new TCPs in your project.

We've checked and confirmed that Fusion has the APT post processor as shown in the attached image.
Does the Fusion APT output for RoboDK use one of these post processors? Or is there a separate special post processor specifically for RoboDK?

You can find the APT post processor used by Fusion when exporting to RoboDK using the RoboDK Plug-in for Fusion here:
C:\RoboDK\Other\Plugin-Fusion360\RoboDK\v39\apt_RoboDK.cps

You can customize this post processor if you need. Keep in mind that when you reinstall RoboDK it will override this file but you can create a copy of the Plugin somewhere else and load it from that other folder.

Fusion 用 RoboDK プラグインを使用して RoboDK にエクスポートする際に Fusion が使用する APT ポストプロセッサは、以下の場所にあります:
C:\RoboDK\Other\Plugin-Fusion360\RoboDK\v39\apt_RoboDK.cps

必要に応じてこのポストプロセッサをカスタマイズできます。RoboDK を再インストールするとこのファイルが上書きされますが、別の場所にプラグインのコピーを作成し、そのフォルダから読み込むことができます。
