Request to add the KUKA KR 50 R2500-2 robot

#1
Hello RoboDK team,
I am currently using a KUKA KR 50 R2500-2 with a KR C5 controller.
I noticed that the KUKA KR 50 R2500 currently available in the RoboDK Robot Library is different from the newer KR 50 R2500-2 currently offered by KUKA.
The robot I am using is:
  • Robot: KUKA KR 50 R2500-2
  • Payload: 50 kg
  • Reach: 2500 mm
  • Controller: KR C5
As shown in the attached comparison image, the mechanical design of the KR 50 R2500-2 is different from the KR 50 R2500 model currently available in the RoboDK library, particularly around the wrist and upper-arm structure.
Could you please add the KUKA KR 50 R2500-2 to the official RoboDK Robot Library?
The specifications and product information for this robot can be found on the official KUKA website under the KR IONTEC series.
It would be very helpful to have the current KR 50 R2500-2 model available in RoboDK for accurate simulation, collision checking, and offline programming with the KR C5 controller.
Thank you for your support.

Do you have access to the .step file of the robot?

I’ve attached the 3D model of the KR 50 R2500-2. If the attached model doesn’t work properly, you can also download the 3D model and documentation from the KUKA website here:  https://www.kukacenter.com/product/444667
