RoboDK closing right after opening

#1
RoboDk closes right after being opened. My current version is 5.8 but I had the same problem with 5.5.3 since reinstalling my laptop's drivers. Right now I have the most recent Nvidia Geforce GTX drivers available.

I tried rebooting RoboDK only and later my laptop, to no avail.

Also tried starting RoboDK via RoboDK.Debug.bat, this gave the same result. The following are the resulting errors:

Please help, Thanks

This issue is related to incorrect graphics card drivers. Are you using RoboDK on a new computer? Did RoboDK ever work on this PC?

You can try running RoboDK by double clicking on this file:
C:/RoboDK/RoboDK-Safe-Start-VM.bat

RoboDK worked before on this PC, however I had to reinstall my drivers with Guru DDU. After doing this, RoboDK wouldn't start anymore.

I tried booting RoboDK with Safe Start, but it makes no difference.

Thanks

I recommend you to revert back to original settings by following these steps:
  1. Run the script C:/RoboDK/RoboDK-Set-Defaults.bat
  2. Start RoboDK
Let me know if it works any better.

Hi Albert, many thanks! It is working again.

Great, thanks for letting us know that reverting the settings back to default made it work.
