I want to be able to do my offline programming at my desktop PC then load the program into the robot then use my laptop to make adjustments using RoboDK online in front of the robot. Do I need to buy 2 licenses or can I use my current license?

You can use the same license on different computers. Just make sure to deactivate and reactivate the license as needed so you can transfer it from one computer to another one.
