Robots speed limits

#1
Hello,
In my company we are thinking on buy a RDK license but, after working with the free trial version of the program, we find a problem with the speed instruction.

I can write    " 9999999.00 mm/s speed,  9999999.00 mm/s2  aceleration "  in the speed instruction and the robot moves in an unreal speed ...so the questions are:

-Does this happen only in the free trial version?

-Are the actual factory speed limits of each robot included in RDK?

Hi srpuente,

As RoboDK supports many different robot brands (and even mechanisms other than industrial robots), we need to be flexible in many regards.
Therefore, the user can enter whatever velocity he sees fit.
The user can enter the right limitation for the selected robot or for the selected application.

The speed is uncaped in the simulation environment, but note that RoboDK will respect the robot limitations when generating robot programs.
