VR Mode performance issues and other questions

#1
I'm looking into the VR mode for RoboDK for a school project of mine, however when I hooked up my HTC Vive to the RoboDK, it started eating up almost all my RAM, whereas other VR games would run smoothly. So as a result of all the RAM being eaten up, my browser crashes, and then RoboDK crashes. Is there any way to fix this? My project is extremely simple, with a single arm in the station.

Also, is there a way to control a joint on a robot in a 3D way? Because I would imagine the purpose of VR allows you to control the arm and record movements in a way that seems natural, but instead the only option is just moving the arm in standard 2D movements just like on a desktop. I feel like it would make more sense for you to be able to grab a joint with a control and be able to turn and move on all axis's and all planes.
