View objects behind translucent object when selected

#1
Hi is it possible to choose a setting such that 3d Models that have been clicked/selected do not disappear when they are being viewed from behind another model that has transparency set  - like a window with alpha set to 100.

When objects are transparent (any transparency, this means that transparency is 99% or less, or the alpha channel is set to 254/255 or less), they are rendered in a second step, after having rendered the opaque objects. When 2 transparent objects overlap in the 3D view, the first object will be displayed alone as if there was no object behind. Ignoring the second object. This happens in the order they appear in the tree. Therefore, a quick workaround is to swap the order of the objects in the tree. In this case, if the second object is closer to the view, you'll be able to see them both overlap. This was setup like this by design because if you display complex transparent objects it is very complicated to appreciate the detail.

Let us know if you have a specific example you would like to share so we can better take a look.

Also, when transparency is set to less than 50%, objects are not clickable anymore. This is useful if you want to display a fence without being able to click on it.
