Wrong tool orientation when imported

#1
Hello,

I am trying to attach a custom tool to Jaka Zu20 robot. However, when I import the IGES file, the tool's orientation with respect to the robot is way off. I have made the tool in SolidWorks. Could you please tell me if I define the tool TCP properly does the visual orientation matter?

Some of my additional questions:

1) How can I define the coordinates/location of my working table with respect to the robot's base? In my case it would be a flatbed on which 3D printing will be done.

2) When I try to import a STL file, it just doesn't appear visually.

Thanks

I recommend you to follow the steps outlined in this section to properly add your tool to the robot in RoboDK from a SolidWorks model or any STEP or IGES file:
