curves positioned away from part when loaded from solidworks plugin

#1
I am looking to perform a dressing operation where the robot holds a part in a gripper and polishes its geometry using a remote tcp. I have sketched the curves onto the part but when I import the curves surface and part into robodk the curves are always positioned away from the part. I can load the part ok and attach it to the robot but when I try and load the curves the part disappears and the curves are in the wrong place.  using V5.6.7 and solidworks 2023 sP5

You should properly configure the tool and the TCP so the curve is positionned where you need in the tool.

Can you share the RoboDK project file? We can better take a look.

Here it is. Thank you Albert

For some reason, the exported curves are rotated by 180 degrees. I would use a global frame in RoboDK to export both the blade model and the machining curves, and then attach them to the correct frame.

I manually split the model and curves (r.click -> split) and corrected their positions:

Finally, I adjusted the orientation of the work frame and the path offset to make the Curve follow project work:

I attached your station with these changes
