ABB S4C+ 3D-Print?

#1
Hello, does anyone here have a working postprocessor for 3D printing with an ABB robot and the S4C+ controller?
Best regards Arndt

Our default post processor for ABB S4C controllers should work for 3D printing. However, you should integrate with your extruder and customize how you send commands to your extruder. You probably have a serial port available in your S4C controller to do so.

This ABB S4C post processor was used to 3D print with this controller:

As I'm new to 3D printing, I'm hoping to find someone here who is already 3D printing with an ABB robot. I am interested in which print heads you use and how you control them via the robot controller. I have an ABB IRB 2400/16 with S4C+ controller. I would be very grateful for any help.

Hello Albert.
I have read through the information. Is it possible to get a test licence to try it out on the robot?

Kind regards

You should be able to download the free version of RoboDK and try the 30 day trial.

You can also contact us through our contact form and we can provide you additional trial licenses:
