Combine multiple mechanism items to one robot item

#1
Hello,

I have a customized 6-axis robot. It is different to the provided 6 axis robot in [Build/modify mechanisms or robots]. So I have to create 6 different [1 rotative axis] items and stack them to form a robot.
I want to combine these 6 items into a robot. So that I can use .setjoints() or .moveJ() methods to move this customized robot in a customized trajectory.
I can used  .setjoints() for 6 items respectively, but these 6 items(joints) will not move simultaneously.

Thank you.

It is not possible to combine 6 separate 1-axis mechanisms and build a 6-axis robot. However, you can use the Model Mechanism or Robot option to create a supported 6-axis mechanism.

If you prefer generic mechanisms you can also use a 3-axis, 4-axis or 5-axis generic mechanism option with the latest version of RoboDK. You can find more information here:
