Direct connection of RoboDK and two FAIRINO robots

#1
Hello,
I am trying to connect to FAIRINO robot, but the request gets refused. Can you confirm me if it is even possible? I am currently getting this error that is in the attachment.

The connection should work. Did you properly setup the Network connection between the robot and RoboDK?
#3
Hello,

well, I think so. I put the robot in auto mode and used the port number and IP address from their WebApp. I tried with User IP and Controller IP, but neither worked. When I tried to connect I got the error seen in the attachment in the inital post.

I undersand you are able to connect through the Fairino web application without issues. Correct?

Can you try disconnecting the web application before connecting with RoboDK?
#5
Hello,

I figured since then that it is an older version of the robot. The version is 3.4.1. I cannot even connect to the WebApp, only the controller. Is there a way to reset the IP addresses to initial value, because with 192.168.58.2 I cannot connect to the FR WebApp.

I don't know how to reset the IP on the Fairino robot controller.

Have you tried updating the firmware of the robot controller?
#7
I did not try that, but I do not know if I can update it to the newest version because the version I have is 3.4.1, and the newset one is 3.8.x or 3.9.x. On which version does RoboDK connection work?
#8
We developed the Fairino integration recently so I assume you need the latest versions of the Fairino firmware.
#9
Hello, I have RoboDK version 4.2.2. Can I run Fairino post processors for generating .lua programs without the updates to the newest version of RoboDK? Is there a way to add just those Post processors in my RoboDK version?
#10
The latest version of the RoboDK post processor for Fairino driver generates LUA program files.

To properly use the latest version of the post processors you should update RoboDK to the latest version.

You can take the latest download of the RoboDK installer here:
