Driver for Niryo One

#1
Hi
I am trying to connect RobDK to a Niryo One robot and to its interface software NiryoStudio but do not have the driver. Can someone let me know where to download it from or send it to me?

Regards

John

Did you try using the driver or post processor available for Niryo Ned2 with Niryo One? We are not sure if Niryo Ned2 is compatible with Niryo One.

Hi Albert thank you for replying. No, I haven't as I can't see them in the API and bin folders that were downloaded with the free version.

I can get the 3D model from RoboDK and do some offline programming with it but when I go to connect to a real Niryo one I can not connect.

Would you be able to send me the ones for Niryo Ned2 and I will test it works this Friday.

Thank you for help

Regards

John

If you take the latest version of RoboDK, all Niryo robots should have the Niryo post processor and NiryoDriver already configured:
  1. The post processor is called Niryo
  2. The driver is called NiryoDriver
You can take the latest version here:

Hi Albert
Unfortunately, I was still not able to connect to the robot even with Niryo Studio software so think it might be down to the age of the robot at the university, see error message below when I try to connect RoboDK to the robot.

I am also unable to connect RoboDK to the Niryo Studio software.

Thank you for your patients

Regards

John

According to Niryo's documentation, pyniryo 1.1.2 is compatible with One, Ned and Ned2.
https://docs.niryo.com/dev/pyniryo/v1.1....x.html#id2

You can update to the latest version with pip install --upgrade pyniryo
https://docs.niryo.com/dev/pyniryo/v1.1....ation.html

Do you have access to the physical robot or only the Studio?

Hi Sam

I will only have access to the physical robot on Fridays so use RoboDK as the main programming software and trying to connect studio.

I will try these updates.

Thank you for your help with this.

John
