External Axis Speed

#1
Hello,

I am using a KUKA Titan on a Gudel Hercules linear track synchronized as 7th axis.

Have tried changing the values in Linear track parameters but no speed change.

Am I missing something?

What do you mean by no speed change?

Usually the speed constrains are a per-joint limit in deg/s or linear speed in mm/s.
#3
I mean the linear track doesn't move any faster no matter what I change in linear track parameters.

You should use the setSpeed Instructions.

When it comes to external axes, you may need to change flags in the PostProcessor using the PostProcessor Editor or use a Program Call command.

Hi Alex,

Could you please send me some information on this subject. I have a similar problem. (in my case the external axes are a rotary table with E1 and E2)

Many thanks in advance!

Can you share your RoboDK project file? We can help you better. This behavior depends on the robot controller, the post processor used in RoboDK and what your program looks like.
