FAIRINO FR5 Programming Errors - Line Point and Point Table Missing

#1
Hello everyone,
I'm a new user trying to generate programs for a FAIRINO FR5 robot using RoboDK, and I'm encountering a couple of persistent errors on the robot's software that are preventing me from running my programs.
The main errors I am seeing are:
  • "Line Point Error": This appears when I try to run a program with linear movements.
  • "Point Table Missing": The robot is telling me it can't find the point table I've defined in the program.
My process is as follows:
  1. I have selected a curve on the object, which you can see in the station attached with this.
  2. I generated the program for the FAIRINO CR5, post processor fairino. ( i have checked other option as well which is fairino db )
  3. I transfer the
    Code:
    lua
file format to the robot controller via USB.

I've already checked the following based on my own debugging:
  • I have ensured that the points are reachable and not violating joint limits.

Could anyone with experience on the FAIRINO CR5 or similar controllers running on the same platform offer some insight?
Specifically, I'm wondering:
  1. Are there any specific formatting requirements for point tables or linear moves in the FAIRINO
    Code:
    lua
files format that I might be missing?
  2. Could this be a post-processor issue? Has anyone successfully used a post-processor for this specific robot model and are there any common pitfalls?
  3. Is there a configuration setting on the robot controller itself that needs to be adjusted to properly interpret the program files?

Any guidance or shared experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Please try using the Fairino-db postprocessor.
Here is the explanatory video of how to use the generated program and points table: video

In addition, it is necessary to ensure that the robot dimensions (e.g., link lengths and offsets) accurately match those of the actual robot, as they may vary depending on the robot version.

We have tried the process as per your instructions but are still facing the same issue.

I have attached all the files and videos for your reference.

Can you please look into this?
If possible please run this station in your system once and share the video of the process.

Did you try using the Fairino db post processor as suggested previously? The station you shared uses a different post processor.

Thank you for your previous instructions. We have carefully followed the steps you provided, but unfortunately, we are still encountering the same errors on the FAIRINO CR5 controller ("Line Point Error" and "Point Table Missing"). two tables are generated only when we use the Fairino db post processor. I am getting some errors while attaching in the chat. Screenshot attached for your reference.

I have attached all the relevant program files and videos demonstrating the issue on the robot for your reference.

Could you please review the attached materials? If possible, we would greatly appreciate it if you could run this station or program within your system and share a short video of the successful process.
Thank you for looking into this further.

You should be able to attach non supported file formats compressed as ZIP files.

Hi,

Please check the attached program file attached with this mail.

In the previous message i have explained the problem along with the station.

Is their any option i can contact you directly. Can anyone from RoboDK please open the my station. Without opening my station you are suggesting options. At least open the station. This way we can save everyone time.

At least check before suggesting anything. Again facing same problem while attaching the compressed while. Screenshot attached with this mail.

YOU COULD HAVE OPENED MY STATION THAN GENERTE THE PROGRAM. MAKE A SIMPLE VIDEO IN FAIRINO SIMUTAION AND ALL THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED IN THE FIRST RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE.

I did open the RDK project file you sent us and generated a program without issues. But I can't try this on a real robot.

I'm still unable to see the files you attached. To assist you properly, please send your station file compressed as a ZIP file to info@robodk.com so we can help you better.
