Import irregular objects into the station

#1
My PhD work focuses on packing irregular objects into a box using automation and digital‑twin robotics. I came across a RoboDK tutorial on YouTube demonstrating a similar workflow, but I am unsure how to import irregular objects into the station when they are not available in the default objects library.
Could you please advise on the correct method for importing custom or irregular 3D objects into RoboDK for simulation and packing tasks? Any guidance or recommended file formats would be greatly appreciated.

While we offer some regular shapes in our library, we also support most 3D file format. We usually recommend more lightweight file formats to ensure performances but we also have some information in the documentation about how to optimize importation settings here:

Thanks, Raphael. I will look into this.
