Is it possible to open a project created in a UR teach pendant in RoboDK?

#1
Good morning,

I created a simple project that involves 3 moveJ commands in a UR teach pendant and would like to know if it's possible to open and simulate it in roboDK. Thanks for sharing the procedure to do this.

I tried to import the script file but I'm getting some failures to retrieve the targets (Image_1).

Hi @Jeremy

I just did what you suggested on the thread you pointed out to me (drag and drop the Script file) on RoboDK's window and it didn't work out. As you mentioned on the thread, this feature is not officially supported but it would be good if you consider this one in a future release.

Hi Daniel,

I agree that this is a potentially nice feature, but it's not as easy as it's sound.
We support over 30 different brands of robots and most handwritten programs have some "special programmer sauce".
Translating all types of programs to something understandable for RoboDK can become a pretty big task.
