Moving complete robot across external axis

[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9)]I am new to RoboDk and I am struggling with a situation.

My design is to hang the robot (UR 16) upside down with the help of a ceiling rail. However I want to move the complete robot through the ceiling rail axis. I am creating the rail in solid edge and plan to generate a .STL file.

Kindly request you to guide me with the procedure to achieve the robot movement along rail axis.

You can load STL, STEP or IGES files and build a rail using the menu:
  • Utilities-Model Mechanism or robot
I recommend you to take a look at this section of the documentation to create your own mechanisms such as a linear rail:
