Network setup for online programming with Yaskawa controller

Hello, 
Hello i am beginner in RoboDk software, I have followed the tuturial to connect to my GP25 YASKAWA robot arm but i can't, for the wirring, should I connect the cable directly to the LAN pair to pair or should I connect through a router?

Both a direct connection or connecting through a router should work. Make sure you have properly setup your local network (LAN) with valid IPs and a valid subnet mask.
