Process failed to start: The system cannot find the file specified

#1
I'm an IT technician assisting one of our staff set up RoboDK and we can't seem to connect to the Robot due to the program unable to locate the drivers. I can manually browse to the file path specified as well as see the full list of drivers in RoboDK.

This is a test installation from my end, the other device has the IP address set to the robot and we are both getting the same result. Our prod version is 5.9.6 and I have also tested the current version, both yielded the same result. I've also tried different drivers all with no success.

We just fixed this issue with the latest version of RoboDK published today (RoboDK 6.0.4):
https://robodk.com/download

Can you update to the latest version? Let us know if you still have issues.

Thanks for the advise.

We installed latest version but it is blocked by defender in our enterprise environment. This happened in past as well which was resolved when the next release was available on Internet.

We can only use Robo DK 6.0.4 using admin privileges which is not possible in educational institute. Can you please provide desired application link? Thanks.

What do you mean it is blocked by defender? Our installer should be digitally signed using a valid certificate.

Installing RoboDK may require admin privileges but using it should not require admin privileges. Do you see any messages stopping you from using ahead as a non-admin user?
