ROS in ROBODK

#1
Hello,
I am working on a project where I need to integrate YOLOv11 in ROS (Robot Operating System) in order to use it with opencv to detect objects in images, I have a real hardware which is a Han's robot E5 series, but I need to simulate the workflow in RoboDK before applying real live operations, the question is does RoboDK support ROS and OpenCV with 2d RGB cameras ?

We don't officially support ROS but you can create your custom integrations using the RoboDK API.

For example, you can simulate 2D cameras and integrate image processing using OpenCV. We have a few examples you can find here:

thanks for the reply.
another question do you support models like YOLO in robodk architecture ? or should we integrate it as a code sample ?

Are you referring to AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots)? If so, yes, you can create this type of robot. Make sure you are using the latest version of RoboDK and select the 4-axis Mobile robot (AGV) option in the build mechanism user interface.
