Transferring DELMIA workcell to RoboDK

#1
Hi, I have a robot workcell simulation in Delmia that I’d like to replicate in RoboDK. I have access to the robot programs (KRL), which I’ve been converting to RoboDK Python scripts, though any insights on that would also be appreciated.

My main hurdle, however, is importing the rest of the environment/workcell into RoboDK. Delmia allows me to export the entire workcell as a .jt file, but I don’t see a direct way to import it into RoboDK. The only similar solutions I found were for .STEP files, which are not an option for me:

Has anyone successfully imported .jt files or found a workaround to bring in Delmia workcells? Would converting to another format be feasible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

RoboDK does not support native Catia or Delmia environment cells as they are proprietary formats.

You may need to load the 3D models individually one by one. You may be able to automate placing the objects with respect to each other using the API. We have a .Net version of our API which should be compatible with Catia.
