Trying to create a new robot

#1
Hi all,

I'm trying to create a robot with RoboDK, and I'm having some problems.

I'm not allowed to post pictures of the robot here, but I think I can describe the problem.

To create the robot, I'm following the method described on this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZQ0uriwApY

I can import all robot links in .stl format and they will appear assembled correctly on RoboDK.

The problem starts the creation of the robot itself.

Even inputting the right dimensions from datasheet, the joints don't stay on right place, and when I try to move and axis, the links doesn't pivot on right places, floating in the air. The only link I could make work more or less properly was J1.

Since this stl was converted from other format, I'm not sure if this problem can be related with the parts origin. In my case, when I import the stls in RoboDK, the origin doesn't stay at the center of robot base, but at its side.

I'm investigating If I can edit the origin of the stls, using SolidWorks or another piece of software.

Anyway, I would like to know if someone had this problem, and what  was the solution.
