Hi folks!
Happy to find RobotDK and I am pretty sure it will meet my needs. Since my older robot, a Nachi SA160F is not included in the library, I am trying to create it. I tried following the instructions in this video (has no sound!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZQ0uriwApY&t=203s
I get stuck about where the "base reference" is filled in and then the "base","Joint 1" ...ect. In the video they select IRB1200 but there is nothing to select on my attempt.
I thought I would compare what I was entering with a robot from Nachi you do have in your library the ST166F (it is the updated SA160F) but I can't find the data that would have been put into d1,a2,d2,a3,a4,d4,d5. I also cannot figure out how to use the speed information of the SA160F such as "strike" (what is that?). The "Parameters" window for the ST166F has four values but the data for the ST166F has values for each joint ...see:
http://www.nachirobotics.eu/upload/files...F-210F.pdf
I thought perhaps I could modify the RobotDK model of the ST166F but the A4 dimension is positive on the ST166F and negative on the SA166F.
and the last question, how do I model the outline of my created robot? I asked Nachi for the STL files but apparently since I am not Chrysler corp. ....no answer.
Help please?
Keshka
