Issue Generating Robot Program on M1 Mac, Sequoia 15.3.2

#1
When I try to generate robot program, I get a pop up saying Python has not been configured properly. I tried following the solution given in this post, https://robodk.com/forum/Thread-Unable-t...ams-on-Mac, but I have had no success. I've tried Python versions 2.7, 3.11, and 3.13 but get the same pop up regardless.  Screenshot 2025-08-04 at 8.49.28 AM.png    .
I've also tried changing the Python interpreter to the location of Python found when I search in my Mac's terminal, /usr/bin/python3 with no luck. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you very much for your time!

I have the same problem and I wrote it under different threads. Sequoia 15.5 - MacPro M1 Max.

This issue has been fixed with the latest version of RoboDK.

I recommend you to use the "open" command to edit Python scripts. It will open the default application associated with Python files.

You can take the latest version from the download page:

Thank you!! Using "open" for editor under Options->Python and Options->Program was necessary for me; paths didn't work.

Update: After the update, there seems to be a problem with Add-Ins. Add-ins window opens, and Load Add-In button initiates the Finder window. I try to load libAddinManager.dylib, but nothing happens. Loaded column stays red.

We'll take a look and fix it with the new release in a week or so. In the meantime, you can take the previous version of RoboDK for Mac here:
