Remote Installation/Mass Installation

#11
Hi Sam,

I just tried this. It works fine from the console. However, when I try over ssh, I get an error. Any recommendations? Thanks!

QStandardPaths: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set, defaulting to '/tmp/runtime-root'
qt.qpa.screen: QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display
Could not connect to any X display.

I was able to get this to work using xvfb. Thanks for the script Sam!

Are you trying to create a docker image or a headless VM? If so, you need to add "--plateform minimal" in the install command.

For those interested, we added an official docker image on Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/robodk/robodk/tags

I am able to get the software to install silently and license correctly. Do I still need to do the install Python step with the 5.9.4 version? I do not see the .exe mentioned in this post but I do see a bunch of .py scripts. I am not sure if my end users will even need it. Any advice would be appreciated.

You don't need to run the Python installer separately on Windows. RoboDK for Windows includes the Python embedded version.
