RoboDK 4.0.2 won't launch on MacOS

#1
Hi,

I installed the new update of RoboDK on my MacOS laptop but when launching, it raises an error (image enclosed). I run a MacBook Pro 2015 with the latest version of MacOS.

Thank you.

Marc

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the heads up.
We will take a look at it ASAP.

In the meantime, you can go back to the previous version by following this link :
https://robodk.com/downloads/Install-Rob...v4.0.1.exe

Have a great day.

Hi Marc,

Actually, RoboDK for Mac version is still 4.0.1. Updated version for Mac will be available later this week.

Does it work if you run it without user settings?
(Double click the file: RoboDK-Skip-Settings.sh)

If so, you can probably start RoboDK without any issues by removing all the RoboDK user setting files in:
Home/Library/Preferences/com.robodk.*
You can use CMD + Shift + .  to display the Library folder.

In any case, you can follow these steps so we can fix this crash:
  1. Go to the RoboDK install folder (usually home/RoboDK/).
  2. Run the RoboDK-Debug.sh file (double click it). See image attached.
  3. After the crash, provide us with this file:
    RoboDK.app/Contents/MacOS/RoboDK.txt

The problem should now be fixed with the lastest MacOS version:
https://robodk.com/download

Can you try to reproduce the same crash?
