Using digital outputs on Yaskawa Motoman for On/Off

#1
Hello,
I have project about welding with Motoman MH80. I have my own tool and already attached the end-effector of robot. The robot uses a Yaskawa Motoman DX100 controller. I want to control the tool from the controller just for like on/off. Could i do that by modifying the post-processor motoman in RoboDK? Which one i should change in the post-processor?

You can use an instruction to set the value of a digital output:

Are you currently using the Welding Addin? If you can provide us with the RoboDK project file we can help you better. You can find more information about the welding addin here:

Please contact us on the following page:

Alternatively, you can use Help-Request Support in RoboDK.

Can't you use something like this?
Code:
DOUT OT#(9) ON/OFF
This would be port 9

Yes, you should be able to easily set the digital output using a Set DO instruction in RoboDK or using the welding addin. The digital output can be an ID or a custom string or variable. If you use an ID like 9 it will output the line you suggested.
