Fanuc with external axis

#1
I have a few questions and I would appreciate your clarification on the points below to proceed with running the program smoothly:

1. I attempted to modify the motion group, but I noticed that in the first group you mentioned the first 9 axes are predefined. As a result, I am unable to make changes.

My intended group setup is as follows:
  • Group 1: 6 + 1 axes
  • Group 2: Turntable (1 axis)
  • Group 3: 2 Linear axes
Could you please advise how to modify or restructure the groups accordingly?
  1. The program size is not displaying.
  2. The memory size is also not showing.
  3. I'm encountering the ASBN-002 error (Error Loading) – could you please guide me on how to resolve this?
Looking forward to your prompt support.

The ASBN-002 error (Error Loading) could be many things. Do you see any other messages when loading?

By the way, I tried opening your RoboDK project file and the frame rate is very slow. I recommend you to simplify the geometry of objects or clean up your geometry. For example:
  1. Select-Tools-Options
  2. Select the Display tab
  3. Select Simplify Object...
  4. Select the station node (first item) to apply the simplification on all objects.

You can find more information about how to improve the display performance here:

The program size or memory size flags are not needed in the LS file.

This Fanuc import issue could be related to the file name of your program file. Have you tried renaming the file to PATH1.LS instead of PATH1 (1).LS to load it to your controller?
