There's been a small mistake in the last release of the driver. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

Dear Sam-san

The JAKA driver was updated and I updated it.
The connection was made.

However, it returns to the previous position after joint movement.

Best regards,
Keisuke Sakai

Good afternoon, there is a problem with connecting to the Jaka Zu 7 robot,
The instructions say that in order to find out the port you need to decrypt the Robot Address line, but I don’t have such a line in the application, in the modbus tcp settings of the robot the default port is 502, but I think this is not the port that I need, nevertheless, when connecting using this port or port 10001 or port 12345, the error does not change (I am attaching a picture), I don’t understand how I can connect the robot. help me please

Can you confirm if this issue happens with the latest version of RoboDK?

Did you take the latest version for Windows 64 bit?

Yes  latest version of RoboDK Install-RoboDK-64-v5.6.8.23903 and  latest version for Windows 64 bit

I asked Jaka for instructions for working with your program, but the instructions contain files that are not in your version of the program, although Jaka specialists said that everything you need is already in your installation file, but I noticed that this is not the case.
I have attached a pdf from them.

I also tried to run the file, see how it works, I don’t know how it will help, but I see that it doesn’t find the DLL, I don’t quite understand, maybe this has something to do with my problem, but I’m attaching a screenshot just in case. It's worth mentioning that I tried to avoid this error by reinstalling the C++ Application Development Framework, but it didn't help.

I also noticed one strange thing: when you press the connect button for the first time, it displays a short message, when you press it again there is a long list of Errors

The JAKA documentation is over 2 years old. We have since partner with them to officially support JAKA.

Please use RoboDK's official documentation to set up your JAKA robot:
https://robodk.com/doc/en/Robots-JAKA.html#JAKA

If you manually copied files to the RoboDK installation folder to follow the JAKA instructions, delete them. Updating RoboDK will not remove them.
Once deleted, install the latest version of RoboDK (currently v5.6.8 released on 2024-01-31).

Note: your first screenshot uses the "DobotDriver.exe", not the "apijaka.py".

Please confirm that when I click the download button I am downloading the correct version,
because when I download the version from the site I get a completely different release
